Paint.NET Alpha Mask Tutorial by Sidneys1 Paint.NET Alpha Mask Tutorial by Sidneys1
Here's a simple tutorial on how to use the Alpha Mask plugin for Paint.NET. Link: [link]

Made with PDN, of course.

UPDATE: Here's a link to the accompanying video tut: [link]

I can't seem to get Paste from Clipboard OR the option to use a mask from file.

Thanks for letting me know! Apparently the Paint.NET Forums have moved. Here's an updated link for you: [link]

I'm also updating it in the description.

Have a nice day,

Hmm...for some reason, I don't have the option of "Paste from Clipboard".
Do I need an old version?

Hey, a quick question:

Do you have to gradient the last example? I tried doing it without but it didn't exactly work. (The skin tone was darker than it was originally.)

No, you shouldn't have to gradient it... Try watching the [link] video tutorial, it might make more sense.

Well when I don't gradient it, the skin tone/color appears darker than it should. Is it because I used the bucket to fill it instead of using the paintbrush?

I'm not sure why it's changing brightness.. Are you sure it's not just in contrast to the different colors around it?
